Let’s Begin with our Delhi to Manila, Uttarakhand tour.
Around 1800 meters above the ocean level, Manila is located in Kumaon, Uttarakhand, was once a part of the Katyuri Kingdom, considered as one of the best tourism places in India.
Life is about the experience, and this place blessed with scenic beauty and allows you to explore yourself.
Here I’m sharing my few traveling tips about this tiny little beautiful hamlet from Kumaon.
The weather in Manila remains pleasant with 20 degrees Celsius so the traveling can be fun all around the seasons. My friends and I choose to travel in winter (though it’s all about the time availability) and guess what we decided to drive to end the year.
Manila can access from Delhi, and Delhi to Manila the distance is approx 379 Kms, which took us almost 10 to 11 hours to reach.
In winter, we drove in the thick fog forest and bad trails throughout our journey. We all loved driving and driving on the offbeat place was fun for us.
We followed the route via Moradabad — Kashipur — Jim Corbett — Mohaan — Marchula — Maulikhal — Manila. We started our journey at around 6.00 AM and reached at 3.30 PM.
We were so tired, so we decided to rest for the day and to resume our exploration from the next day.
If you still have any doubt before visiting there to spend a beautiful vacation, here sharing my journey in pictures:
And the first picture of our route
Even we were so tired, cannot stop ourselves to enjoy the beautiful sunset though we missed the sunrise, the next view was never less than anything.
A good day starts with a great breakfast, and nothing can match with the traditional “pahadi” food.
The view got better and better by increasing height. A beautiful forest view is enough to make you plastered.
